Man Arrested for Playing Music In New York Subway

So on October 18th a musician was arrested in a New York substation for playing playing his guitar and singing. The Musician was in no violation of any law or ordinance and simply was playing music. A police officer of NYPD felt he was in violation of impeding transit.

This is an outrageous abuse of power by the police officer in question. The musician exonerated himself by making the officer quote the ordinance that was being "violated"
"The following nontransit uses are permitted by the Authority, provided they do not impede transit activities and they are conducted in accordance with these rules: public speaking; campaigning; leafletting or distribution of written noncommercial materials; activities intended to encourage and facilitate voter registration; artistic performances, including the acceptance of donations." . This direct and total misuse of power was completely and totally obscene in this direct use. Andrew the musician made this statement after being released by police.

“One thing that everyone (who’s interested) can do is to keep in conversation about the things that need to change. Practice within your circles where you feel safe, but then expand out so that your ideas can spread. And be respectful of others’ points of view. Persuade people to see your side (if your theories are sound this should work), don’t chastise them for thinking otherwise. Because essentially I think as a culture we need an entire mindset overhaul—in some areas—on what is valuable in this life, how to respect each other’s right to be, and what it means to really own the title ‘land of the free.'

Full Coloure Tattoo Sleeve

Prison Ink

Prison and biker tats are a very unique style of tattooing. The style is characterized by heavy ink, skulls, or religious emblems.  Originating in prisons where colored ink was impossible to get. Back then these tattoos were only worn by prison inmates, ex-cons, and bikers. But like all styles they have been modernized for everyone. this classic grungy style holds a special place in my heart because of its edgy look and old school aesthetic is always a good addition to most peoples' canvas.
More classic versions will most times, if not always, feature the same source material (i.e skulls, praying hands, crosses, etc.). These are the most common motifs, however, there are many more!
The biker distinction brings a whole new element of hogs, hot rods, babes, and biker symbols and ideas.
This style is always evolving and changing improving as it adapts to every changing times. However a medium sized black and white skull tattoo to piss of authority is always a great choice!

Irezumi

Irezumi is traditional Japanese tattooing. This style is an amazing tattoo that's always a crowd pleaser. This tattooing style dates back to early Japanese and Chinese when tattooing began showing status rather than branding. Common motifs for these tattoos include: Koi, Dragons, Tigers, Snakes, Cherry Blossoms, Samurai, Geishas, and most common Buddhas.
The style itself has been popularized these days for it's use of bright colors core themes and often wild aesthetics. Modernization has been done on a lot of these tattoos such as using modern characters (i.e. Darth Vader) in traditional scenes. These tattoos always have a nice look if done correctly. Like "old school" tattoos they are made to last and don't often fade away.
